FIREKEEPERS - 1 DAY "IGNITE YOUR FIRE " RETREAT FOR ALL GENDERS

  • 12 Swan Avenue Longford, TAS, 7301 Australia (map)

We are all responsible for the fire. To be a fire keeper means to tend the flame. To listen to ourselves and to each other. Fire knows no gender, no colour. Fire knows love and warmth, but also understands responsibility and accountability for a strong flame that burns long embers. If you wish to understand your flame better, how to stoke your fire, how to work in togetherness to build fire in yourself, in your partnerships, in your families, in your communities - come to this 1 Day Retreat where you can begin. This retreat is taught under indigenous ways of embracing the wisdom, where listening to each other, to the land and to all of our nature relationships, especially fire, is important and where we choose when we come in to respectfully leave our preconceived ideas and colonised ways at the door to make room for ourselves to receive. This is more than a sharing space, it is a place where you will tools that you can walk with and understand a different way of freewill and choice to begin to live.We encompass the teachings of our own elders and teachers and honour the elders and ancestors that walk with us on these journeys and we welcome you to take your place in this circle and be the firekeeper.

Price $364pp (plus eventbrite fee)

This retreat is the first of a series of 5 supportive retreats that invite you to expand your curiosity and delve further into knowing yourself better. FIREKEEPER is all about continuity. In a world that teaches you to be fast and be happy with “quick results” where the expectation is “burn out”, we are going in the opposite direction. It will be slow, immersive, intentional and a very different journey that gives you opportunity and tools to know yourself better and keep your creative fires and your passion for life burning.
